TRALALA.
Okay, im satisfied with my results. FINE, very satisfied. I cant be overjoyed, cause i didnt do well enough for Special. But my sister says that special is no difference from higher chinese and im eligible for higher chinese in secondary so - GO FOR IT!! My aim was to get 250 but after the speech by Miss Choo(which i must say, made lots of people lose confidence), we were like 'HUHHHH?!'. And so clinged on to the bit of faith and hoped that i got 240^. At least i succeeded. Its really hard to tackle such things when there's ZiQing sitting next to you saying repeatedly 'aiyah, shit lah, sure die one lor! SURE DIE ONE!' reallly hard to tackle XD
Then we went to get our results slip. Then i didnt dare to look at my score cause there was this piece of paper covering the middle part of the whole piece of paper. Then i slided the paper down and i saw all As and Merit for HCL. My immediate reaction was like 'WAH, HENG MAN'. So i got a little,
A LITTLE more confident and i took the small piece of paper out. And then i was prepared to open my eyes to look at the score..

Yes, to your disappointment, this is probably the crappiest reaction ever if this scenario was sent to Mediacorp.
I was like 'where the hell is the score?' cause there were marks everywhere! Then i slowly looked and i saw 'Pupil's Aggregate Score' and my score. I screamed like mad. But then its weird how i could get SO HAPPY over that score. Its not fantastic lah, but at least i still accomplished my second target (:
Really, imagine how you would react if the highest in our level is 268 only! But yah, 268 is still DAMN HIGH. But it was 280 four years ago, according to my sister. No wonder Miss Choo was saying how disappointed they were cause we dropped and dropped. So we were like all so worried.
Still quite sad lah, that i cant do special. But at least im eligible for higher chinese. Though its pretty much the same. OPTING for it and ACHIEVING it has two different feelings. And cause you're able to do Foreign Language in Secondary if you do Special, so yeah.
AND - i got the highest overall score among my cousins! (((((: but my sister claimed that she still got higher cause i had higher chinese to pull me up and beat her by one mark. So my raw score lost to her by one mark. So she still wins. RAH, such a spoiler.
And yesterday night my dad asked how much i wanted to get. And i told him enough to get into Special, which is 250. Then he asked how much my sis got. So she said, then he said
'Okay, if you get 240^, we have McDonalds for dinner. If you get 250^, we have Pizza Hut. If you get 260^, dinner will be your choice.'
HAHAHAH. Right. Luckily he was joking. HE'D BETTER BE JOKING, that is. Otherwise i may have problems with dinner for the rest of my life. I am off to my grandparents' to play with Ryan and spread my happiness! ((:
